Sprint Mobile has HORRIBLE customer service for military customers!


Sprint is a TERRIBLE service provider. They have poor customer service that treats their customers as if they mean nothing! My case is 4 years old & unresolved. I have been up the chain of command to executive customer care and even there, its no help. 2010, in my area the coverage was VERY poor. In my home I would have no service. I couldn't make calls, receive calls, I would have dropped calls, couldn't send or receive texts, and had no internet access. (Area code 60113) I would have to go outside my house & walk down the street for any calls. My husband was active duty and we were in the process of being stationed in Hawaii & then he was deploying to Afghanistan. During this time we NEEDED phone coverage for my husband to be in contact with his chain of command for arrangements, etc. WHY SHOULD I PAY A MONTH TO MONTH BILL FOR NO SERVICE????????????? I was told that moving to Hawaii was not reason to waive early termination fees- which has nothing to do with anything because at the time being where we were living was the place we weren't getting service. Then I was told that an investigation would be opened and they were sending a technician out to see about the towers and coverage in my area and it may take a few weeks to further investigate and do reports. Well, because we needed immediate phone service we ported our numbers out to a new carrier. Due to porting our numbers out we inquired an early termination fee of $520.00....again, WHY PAY FOR MONTHLY BILLS WHEN I AM NOT RECIEVING PROPER SERVICE?? Then, because we no longer had service with Sprint the representative closed my case & said there would be no further looking into the case because basically at that point Sprint had nothing to loose, because they already lost me as a customer. Long story short.. between now and then it has never been resolved. Its a round and round circle.... they have nothing to loose so they haven't and will not work with me on those early termination fees. I understand Sprint is a business but any person with a heart and a conscious would know that if a customer is not receiving adequate service, then why should they be contracted to have to stay and pay for something they're not receiving or have to pay a huge sum of money just to be free. That is how Sprint treats their customers! That is how Sprint treats military and veterans...soldiers who have fought for them, and for their freedom. Just terrible!! Sprint should be ashamed of themselves, but fortuity for them....in my situation they have nothing to loose because they already lost me as a customer, so they say why should they help me now? I have been told numerous times that even though I had no service that that is not a good enough reason to waive termination fees. That's pathetic!! I want to raise awareness of how poorly Sprints service is, how poorly their customer care is, how they treat their customers & military, and I want to encourage others to really think wisely about committing with Sprint, because its a HORRIBLE provider in so many ways!
